MN REALTORS is Seeking Artwork

The Minnesota REALTORS® office in Edina has recently undergone a face-lift, and we need artwork!

We are currently looking for scenes of our great state to frame and hang on our walls. These can be photos of famous landmarks, parks, nature, landscapes, or anything Minnesota-related.

We ask that images have a resolution of at least 300 pixels/inch. If you have a photo you’d like to submit, you can upload your file here.*

A researcher at Virginia Tech looked at quite a bit of research on how much landscaping can add to a home’s value. He found that landscaping can increase your property value by nearly 13%. Plus, consider that mature trees can help keep energy costs down by shading a home from the heat of summer or thorny shrubs planted under windows can be used as a natural security system!

One question sellers often ask is “what will my return on investment be?” The answer, of course, depends on where you live and the value of your home. Some experts say you can expect to get back 100% of your investment in landscaping in terms of added value to your home. But, a good rule of thumb on how much to invest in landscaping is to not spend more than 30% of your home’s value on landscaping.
