9 AM – NOON | Buyer Counseling: A Planned Approach | Instructor: John Anderson
This course will help real estate practitioners represent and counsel buyers by assessing buyers’ needs and wants, as well as preparing them to make informed decisions. The instructor will help licensees understand the obligations to fully explain MN agency relationships and the option available to buyers. The class will also cover the requirements of Federal Fair Housing laws and best practices.
This course has been approved by the Minnesota Commissioner of Commerce for 3 hours of real estate continuing education.
Meet John Anderson: John has been a licensed REALTOR® since 1980 and is a broker/owner of Twin Oaks Realty in Crystal. John brings extensive real estate experience to the classroom, both in residential transactions and in the rental/leasing markets. He holds the CRB, CRS, ARB, E-Pro, GRI and SFR designations.
1 PM – 4 PM | Negotiate with Confidence and Power: Fundamentals | Instructor: Deb Greene
This course will help real estate professionals understand the practices of negotiating on behalf of, and in the best interests of, their real estate clients in the purchase, sale, or lease of real property. Students will learn how to understand the needs, concerns, priorities and motivations of parties to the negotiation in order to better serve the interests of their clients.
